At Always Dream, we believe that literacy is the foundation for pursuing dreams. We know that building a love of reading is a proven strategy for student success, and our Always Reading program is here to provide family members and caring adults with the tools and resources needed to do just that.

Our
Approach
Our Always Reading program promotes at-home reading for Transitional and Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students by providing knowledge and resources for families to support their children in building early literacy skills as they enter Kindergarten.
Equity through technology
Students receive their own digital tablet and data connection (if needed) for the duration of the program.
Access to high-quality books
Each family receives free access to a digital children’s library with thousands of engaging and diverse books, as well as hard-copy books throughout the year.
Family engagement
Local Book Coaches support family members in using their tablets and give caregivers the tools and encouragement to make reading a fun part of their out-of-school routine and their lives for years to come.

Our Always Reading program helps families across the San Francisco Bay Area and the state of Hawaiʻi understand the importance of reading together at home. Always Reading gives parents and caring adults the tools and support needed to build a love of reading with their child.
