always dream playground
On Friday evening, October 12, 2007, the Always Dream Foundation joined officials from Kristi's hometown of Fremont, California in dedicating land to the construction of an extraordinary new playground. Funded by the Always Dream Foundation, this playground will be built in beautiful, 450 acre, Central Park. Inspired by a program that the Foundation helped develop for a summer camp in Hawaii, this playground will be a place where all children, including those confronting the challenges of a disability can play together and learn from each other.

The Playground is being designed by (MIG) Moore, Iacofano & Goltsman, an internationally renowned design and planning firm. The goal of the design is to create a play area for children of all abilities that allows for physical as well as mental development through a diversity of play experiences, and is also a gathering place for the entire community. The design also aims to incorporate natural elements and provide an engaging, interactive environment.

Construction is slated to begin in the Spring of 2008, with a scheduled completion in late 2008. The Always Dream Foundation invites interested corporations and individuals to support the construction of this enduring legacy for the children of the San Francisco Bay Area.
