Always Dream Play Park

On Saturday afternoon, January 16, 2010, Kristi joined Fremont Mayor Wasserman to cut the ribbon and officially open Always Dream Play Park. Funded by the Always Dream Foundation, this extraordinary playground is situated in beautiful, 450 acre, Central Park. Inspired by a program that the Foundation helped develop for a summer camp in Hawaii, this playground is a place where all children, including those confronting the challenges of a disability can play together and learn from each other.

The facility was designed by (MIG) Moore, Iacofano & Goltsman, an internationally renowned design and planning firm. The goal of the design is to create a play area for children of all abilities that allows for physical as well as mental development through a diversity of play experiences, and is also a gathering place for the entire community. The design also aims to incorporate natural elements and provide an engaging, interactive environment. Construction management services were provided on a pro bono basis by Swinerton Builders.
