Dear friends,

I hope you and your family continue to be well and remain healthy!

I wanted to share some positive news. As you know, Always Dream has been working diligently on supporting students and their families in their home environment for several years now.

Your support has been critical during this pandemic, as families need tools to assist with their distance learning at home and access to technology is a high-priority, especially among our most vulnerable population, low-income families.

I am pleased to share some compelling outcomes from the Evaluation Results Brief compiled by Learning For Action, which summarizes our first full program evaluation. Click here to see the full report.

We will highlight progress towards the key elements of our model with you—starting with Parent Engagement below!

We look forward to building on these successes as we make refinements and prepare to scale our program to serve more students in the years to come. With your help, we can make more dreams possible.

With gratitude,

Kristi Yamaguchi

Equipping parents with the skills and resources they need to engage in shared reading and other literacy practices significantly increases children’s likelihood of achieving reading proficiency by the end of third grade.
